the new beta
joey: have you seen iPhone Remote yet?
joey: i think yesterday it was named Telekinesis
emma: yeah, i saw briefly something for telekinesis
joey: we tried it out yesterday, it's pretty cool
joey: lot of bugginess, but it's alpha
joey: apparently alpha is the new beta
emma: yes it is
joey: i'm just going to outline a piece of software and release that
emma: i am releasing this sketch i just did on a napkin
joey: i have been beaten
emma: and the sketch is just of another sketch i would like to do someday
joey: right
joey: you know, it would be an interesting experiment to actually come up with an idea for a piece of software, and plan it out, then release it to the teeming masses of programers out there and see what happens
joey: sort of like open source, but where you don't do any of the work
emma: that's my favorite kind of project
joey: i really need to realign my career path in such a way
