joey: you know, it would be an interesting experiment to actually come up with an idea for a piece of software, and plan it out, then release it to the teeming masses of programers out there and see what happens

New music video is up for Drifting In Silence's Chameleon from the new album Fallto.

New Good Stuff

Just for fun I usually make a mix of new good music from the past year. I have a rather large one this year, so it's separated into seasons, four smaller mixes that make up one bigger mix. Also, some of it is older music, but it's new to me, so it counts.

Oh, and the site looks like poop in Internet Explorer right now because I don't care.

Work!

Everything is crazy busy. I'm in the process of working on a music video, but in the meantime I threw together this little thing for CCM Magazine. I was provided with materials and edited it all together, and threw in some of my own photos for the backgrounds. I don't think it's half bad for being done in a couple days with very little knowledge of what they even really wanted. It was an emergency project.

Pee Ess Pee

I finally got a good chance to play with After Effects' super fancy 3d capabilities and I think I'm in love. This little 15 second commercial is the result.

How I Became the Bomb

I did a photo shoot yesterday for the local band How I Became the Bomb. They are, in fact, the bomb. You should check them out.

I was pretty excited about it because they were wanting to mimic two of my favorite things: old soviet propaganda posters and a 1940s photo of the Manhattan Project guys. Hotness. You can check them out on flickr. I am pretty pleased with how they turned out. I can't wait to see the final results of their implementation.

Wake Up

In the process of building a press kit dvd for a friend and his music I'm creating videos to go along with two of the songs. I've finally finished the first one, and it's nothing but fun with old stock footage. However, it's good to have finally produced something complete for the first time since school. It's a nice warm up for the short film I'll be doing soon.
